With the flavour punch of lemon, and garlicky Tarator dressing, Lamb shawarma anyone?

Lamb spiced with Shawarma, marinated for tenderness and flavour, wapped in Pita with tangy Tarator sauce! Oh yeah...s, and

 4 250gm lamb fillets
 1 juice of one lemon
 1 onion, thinly sliced
 3 cloves of garlic, crushed
 1 tsp ground black pepper
 2 tsp Alamir Bakery Shawarma Spices
Filling
 2 Red onions thinly sliced
 2 tomatoes
 4 gherkins
 1 bunch of coarsely chopped flat leaf parsley
 2 tsp sumac
For the wraps
 4 Alamir Bakery Pita Bread
 Alamir Tarator

Combine lamb, lemon juice, Alamir Bakery Shawarma Spices, first onion, garlic, salt and pepper, in a roasting try and marinate for at least 15 minutes, preferably overnight!

Preheat oven to 250C..

Roast uncovered until lamb begins to brown. Reduce heat to 180C.

Cover lamb with foil and cook for another 30 mins, or until lamb is tender.

Remove from the oven, rest, then thinly slice.

Mix the onion with the sumac.

Slice the tomato, cucumber, pickles and turnips in long strips, for easy rolling in the
